Welcome to the Corporate Softball League

The Corporate Softball League was officially founded in 1989 by members of the now defunct Workingman's Softball League. The WSL consisted of Capital District business sponsored teams that played games in numerous locations, including Siena College, Frear Park, Geer Field, and Knickerbacker Park. In 1999, during a time of league uncertainty and in jeopardy of folding, Jim Cole and Paul Butch met at the Troy Brew Pub to "step up to the plate" and revamp the league. Thus, the Corporate Softball League was born. The CSL started with 8 teams in 1999, and has now increased to 15 teams in 2018. The league currently plays its games at Knickerbocker Fields, located in Lansingburgh/North Troy. We are also a member of the Lynn's Softball organization.
